About FutureNest Training
Why I built this — and what makes it different from everything else out there.
I’ve spent years doing this work. Now I’m going to show you how.
I’m a senior Business Analyst with years of experience working across complex, high-stakes projects in UK organisations. I’ve sat in the stakeholder workshops. I’ve written the requirements documents that actually got signed off. I’ve run the gap analysis sessions, presented the business cases, and navigated the politics that no textbook ever mentions.
And for a period of my career, I also trained people. I’ve helped aspiring BAs and Project Managers understand not just what the frameworks say — but what the work actually looks like on the ground. What a real deliverable looks like. How to handle a stakeholder who doesn’t know what they want. What separates a BA who gets hired from one who doesn’t.
I built FutureNest Training because I was frustrated.
Frustrated by the number of courses that charge hundreds of pounds to show people slides and then hand them a certificate. Frustrated by how many people I’ve spoken to who’ve done training after training but still can’t get through a BA interview because they have nothing concrete to show. Frustrated by the gap between what online learning promises and what it actually delivers.
This platform is the programme I wish had existed when people were coming to me for career advice.
My philosophy on training
The portfolio is the qualification.
Certificates matter for signposting. But what gets you hired is walking into an interview and showing work you built. Employers want to see the deliverables.
Theory without application is expensive forgetting.
You can learn BPMN notation and forget it in a week, or use it to model a real process and build muscle memory that lasts. We focus on doing, not just knowing.
Career changers deserve better support.
Most training is designed for people already in the door. Very little is built for people making the transition — who need the context, the confidence, and the proof.
