What this programme is

The Project Management Career Accelerator is an 8-week structured programme that takes you from the foundations of project management through to a complete simulated client project.

Weeks 1 to 5 cover the core competencies — project lifecycle, planning, risk, Agile, and control — through a combination of self-paced modules and weekly live masterclasses. Each week ends with a deliverable: a real work product you produce for a simulated client scenario.

Weeks 6 to 8 are your capstone project. You receive a comprehensive client brief and must produce a full project portfolio — charter, plan, risk register, stakeholder map, status reports, and closure document — as if you were the PM on a real engagement.

By the end of week 8, you have a portfolio of deliverables, a capstone project you can discuss in interviews, a certificate of completion, and my personal reference letter.

What you’ll learn — week by week

Week 1

What is Project Management?

Understanding where PM sits, what Project Managers actually do, and how projects are structured. The full project lifecycle, governance, roles and responsibilities, and how organisations use project frameworks.

📄 Your deliverable: A project charter for a simulated client — the formal document that kicks off a project.

Week 2

Planning and Scheduling

The core of project management: breaking down work, building a plan, and managing resources and time. Work breakdown structures, Gantt charts, and realistic estimation techniques.

📄 Your deliverable: A full project plan with WBS and Gantt chart.

Week 3

Risk and Stakeholder Management

How to identify what could go wrong before it does, and how to manage the people who determine whether your project succeeds. Risk registers, mitigation strategies, stakeholder influence mapping, and communication plans.

📄 Your deliverable: A risk register and stakeholder communication plan.

Week 4

Agile Frameworks

Most modern projects use some form of Agile. Scrum and Kanban in practical depth — sprint planning, backlog management, and when to choose Agile vs Waterfall.

📄 Your deliverable: A product backlog and sprint plan for a simulated product build.

Week 5

Monitoring, Control and Closure

How to keep a project on track, manage change, and close it properly. Status reporting, dashboards, change control, earned value basics, and lessons learned.

📄 Your deliverable: A status report and lessons learned document.

Weeks 6–8

Capstone Simulated Client Project

You receive a full client brief — a realistic business scenario with context, stakeholders, constraints, and expectations. You act as the Project Manager. AI-powered feedback on each submission. Final portfolio review by me personally.

Full capstone deliverables: Project charter · WBS & Gantt · Risk register · Stakeholder map · Status reports · Closure report
