Frequently Asked Questions
About the Programmes
Do I need a degree or prior experience to enrol?
No. Both programmes are designed for people at the beginning of their BA or PM journey. You don’t need a degree, prior experience, or any specific technical background. We start from first principles and build up. If you’ve been doing adjacent work — organising projects, documenting processes, liaising with stakeholders — that’s useful context, but it’s not a requirement.
How long do the programmes take?
Each programme is 8 weeks. The Complete Bundle (PM + BA sequential) is 16 weeks. The structure is 5 weeks of taught content followed by 3 weeks of capstone project work. Modules are self-paced but we recommend treating each week as a unit and completing the weekly deliverable before moving on.
How much time do I need to commit each week?
We recommend 4 to 6 hours per week. This covers the module content, attending or watching the recorded masterclass, participating in the peer workshop, and completing your weekly deliverable. The capstone project weeks (6–8) may require slightly more time depending on how detailed you want your submissions to be.
Are the courses self-paced or do I need to attend at set times?
The core modules are self-paced — you access them through the student platform and work through them in your own time. The weekly live masterclasses and peer workshops are scheduled, but all sessions are recorded so if you can’t attend live, you can watch the recording within 24 hours.
What is the difference between the PM and BA programmes?
The PM Accelerator focuses on how to plan, deliver, and close projects. The BA Accelerator focuses on how to understand business needs, document requirements, and support change. The two roles work closely together in real organisations. The BA programme includes a PM Foundations week (Week 1) to give you context for the environment you’ll work in.
Can I take both courses?
Yes — that’s what the Complete Bundle is for. You take the PM programme first, then the BA programme. The bundle saves you £97 compared to buying both separately and gives you a complete portfolio spanning both disciplines.
About the Content and Delivery
What are the weekly deliverables?
Each taught week ends with a professional deliverable — a real work product based on a simulated client scenario. Examples include: a project charter, a risk register, a requirements specification document, a business case. These are the same types of outputs that appear in real BA and PM job descriptions and form the foundation of your portfolio.
What is the capstone project?
The capstone project (Weeks 6–8) is a full simulated client engagement. You receive a detailed brief — a realistic business scenario with a company name, industry context, a business problem, stakeholder profiles, and constraints. You act as the PM (or BA) and produce a complete suite of deliverables. AI-powered feedback is provided on each submission, and your completed portfolio receives a final human review from me.
What is AI-powered feedback?
When you submit your capstone deliverables, you receive structured feedback generated using AI — commentary on your work against a professional rubric, highlighting strengths, identifying gaps, and suggesting improvements. This feedback is available immediately after each submission. Your completed portfolio also receives a final human review from me personally.
Are there live sessions? What if I can’t attend?
Yes — there is one live masterclass and one peer workshop per week. Both are recorded and available for replay within 24 hours. We strongly encourage attending live because the discussion, questions, and peer interaction are part of the learning experience. But missing a session won’t mean falling behind.
About Outcomes and Certification
What certificate do I receive?
On successful completion of the programme — completing all weekly deliverables and submitting your capstone project — you receive a CPD-accredited certificate of completion. This is a genuine credential you can reference on your CV and LinkedIn profile.
Is the certificate a replacement for PRINCE2, PMP, BCS or ECBA?
No. Your FutureNest Training certificate is a record of the practical programme you’ve completed and the portfolio you’ve built. It is complementary to — not a replacement for — formal professional qualifications. As part of your post-programme support, we provide a clear guide to the major BA and PM qualifications and help you understand which ones are right for your career goals.
Do I get a reference letter?
Yes. Every graduate receives a personalised professional reference letter from me. This is not a template form. It references the specific programme you completed, the deliverables you produced, and my professional assessment of your capability. It’s designed to support your job applications.
What career support is included?
All programmes include: CV rewrite support with templates tailored for career changers, an interview preparation module (20 BA + 20 PM interview questions with STAR-format model answers), a mock interview simulation, professional exam signposting, and a reference letter. See the Post-Programme Support page for full details.
Payments and Access
What are the payment options?
You can pay in full (£297 for either accelerator, £497 for the bundle) or split into 3 monthly payments (£109/month for either accelerator, £179/month for the bundle). Payment is processed securely through Stripe. All prices include VAT.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 14-day refund period from the date of enrolment, provided you have not accessed more than the first module and have not submitted any deliverables. After 14 days or after engaging with the programme content, refunds are not available. Please read the full Terms and Conditions before enrolling.
How long do I have access to the platform?
You have 12 months of platform access from your enrolment date. All course materials, templates, recordings, and resources are available throughout that period.
What technology do I need?
A computer or laptop with a web browser and a stable internet connection. All modules, templates, and resources are accessed through the student platform. Templates are provided in standard formats (Word/PDF). No specialist software is required.
What is the mentorship programme?
The mentorship programme is an optional paid continuation for graduates. It includes monthly group calls hosted by me, access to the graduate community, and ongoing Q&A. It costs £49/month (standard) or £79/month (including a monthly one-to-one call with me). Month-by-month with no minimum term. See the Post-Programme Support page for full details.
