What Happens Each Week
Every Friday 8PM–10PM. Live, practitioner-led, recorded. Miss a session? It is in your dashboard within 24 hours.
Week 1
What Business Analysis Actually Is
We strip away theoretical definitions and talk about what BAs actually do in practice — how they operate within teams, what they are responsible for, and why most organisations do not fully understand the role. You will be introduced to VitalDrop Logistics Ltd and begin your initial stakeholder analysis.
Week 2
Stakeholder Engagement & Elicitation
How to plan and run a requirements workshop. How to handle resistant stakeholders. How to extract requirements from people who do not know what they want. Practical elicitation techniques with live scenario application.
Week 3
Process Analysis: As-Is Mapping
Capturing the current state in a way that actually helps the project. Swim-lane process maps, pain point identification, inefficiency analysis. You will map the VitalDrop current-state process — including the Excel and WhatsApp workflows it is trying to replace.
Week 4
Requirements Definition & Backlog Management
Writing requirements that are clear, testable, and useful to a delivery team. Functional vs non-functional. User stories vs use cases. MoSCoW prioritisation. You will produce the VitalDrop MedTrack Cloud requirements backlog.
Week 5
Simulation PrepVitalDrop Briefing & Setup
Your capstone project unlocks. Read the full VitalDrop scenario, download your BA templates, and set up your deliverable workbooks. This week is about preparation — the pressure starts Week 6.
Weeks 6–8
The PracticumFull BA Delivery on VitalDrop
The scenario intensifies. In Week 6 stakeholder resistance from veteran drivers escalates — you will document it, manage it, and reflect it in your updated Stakeholder Map. Week 7 you produce a full UAT Plan for the MedTrack Cloud system. Week 8: final submission, trainer assessment, graduation.
Every deliverable is assessed manually with written feedback.
